Zhenya has been teaching at the Rideau for over thirteen years and is in his second year as Head Pro. His outgoing manner and positive attitude are well known and respected at the Club. He has a Master’s degree in Sports Studies from the University of Ottawa and a BA in coaching. He has been recognized by Tennis Canada for his coaching excellence. Zhenya is an important member of the professional team.

Ryan Berman
Tennis Professional
Ryan has an extensive wealth of knowledge and skill which he has developed over his 10 years of coaching tennis.
With a U.S.T.A. Professional Coach Status he has the ability to teach every level of player at any age. Ryan is also a certified American Wheelchair Tennis Association Coach allowing him to provide invaluable coaching to Para-athletes.  Ryan assisted in the coaching of Para-Olympic Gold Medalist David Hall. Ryan coached a Colorado high school varsity and junior varsity boy’s tennis teams to the state finals where one of his students won the state championship two consecutive years. He also coached winning varsity university team athletes both men and women. Ryan is passionate about the game of tennis and has a dynamic energy. He believes in not only improving your game but ensuring you enjoy yourself at the same time.

Adrian Frei
Tennis Professional
Adrian is a former nationally ranked junior in his native Switzerland. Adrian has being teaching tennis in Ottawa for several years and is also one of the top ranked players in the City.
Adrian is very knowledgeable of the technical, physical and mental aspects of the game. He teaches adults and juniors in group and private lessons and is also available as a hitting partner. As well, he enjoys participating in local and provincial tournaments.
